    Step 1

    You’ll complete a short questionnaire so I can find out about you and your business. You’ll also send me links to your existing content, like blog posts, emails, social media posts and your lead magnet.

    Step 2

    I’ll conduct a thorough review of your existing content so I know where we’re starting from and if there are any gaps. This also gives me a chance to get familiar with your brand voice and unique way of saying things.

    Step 3

    We’ll have a 1-hour kick-off call to discuss my recommendations, identify your strategic content pillars and decide what topics we’re going to cover.

    Step 4

    I’ll set up your editorial schedule and workflow in Asana so you can easily track all deliverables.

    Step 5

    Once your plan is in place, I’ll collect your ideas and insights on each topic via a short briefing form or Zoom chat. 

    Step 6

    I’ll get to work writing engaging and in-depth articles that’ll build your brand awareness and authority (and help your ideal clients find you on Google too!). You’ll have an opportunity to review these and provide feedback before we finalise and publish.

    I’ll also write emails and social media posts to make it super easy for you to share your content.

    FAQs 

    How and when will my content be delivered?

    We’ll agree on your content delivery schedule before your package commences (for example, fortnightly or monthly). I’ll then set up your editorial schedule and workflow in Asana (free project management software) so you can easily track all deliverables. When it comes time to deliver your content, I’ll send you a Google Doc for easy collaboration.

    How do you get the information you need to write my content?

    Once we’ve identified your strategic content pillars and what topics we’re going to cover, I’ll collect your ideas and insights on each topic via a short briefing form (or we can have a chat over Zoom if you prefer). Or, you might already have existing content on the topic (e.g. podcast interviews or videos) that I can redevelop into premium content pieces.

    Why should I trust you to write my content?

    Great question! There are so many copywriters and content writers out there, it’s hard to know who to choose. When you choose me to write your content, you know you’re investing in quality. I’ve built my career ghostwriting and editing content for thought leaders across a range of industries, including finance, health and higher education. Now I’m using that experience to help people just like you position yourself as the expert you truly are.

    As well as 15+ years of experience in the corporate world, I’ve got the education and qualifications to back me up, including journalism and marketing degrees and a Graduate Certificate in Writing, Editing and Publishing from The University of Queensland. I’m also an Accredited Editor with the Institute of Professional Editors (IPEd).

    What if I don't like what you've written?

    Before I start writing, we’ll get really clear on who your target audience is and what you want them to think and feel after reading your content. I’ll use these insights when writing your content, and will also refer to any existing content you’ve written to make sure I get your brand voice just right. You’ll have an opportunity to review a first draft and provide feedback before your content is finalised. This is YOUR content, and I’ve designed my processes to make sure it sounds and feels like YOU.

    How do I know if we're a good fit?

    Investing in content writing for your business is a big decision, and I want to make sure you’re completely comfortable with the process and what you’re going to get. That’s why I offer a free, no-obligation discovery call so you can make sure I’m the right content writer for you.

    Do your content writing packages include images and/or design?

    My content writing packages include all the words for your written content, including blog posts, emails and social media posts. They don’t include images or design. Most of my clients have their own images or subscriptions to stock image libraries, and create their own graphics in Canva (or have a graphic designer or VA who does that for them).

    How are payments and refunds handled?

    Your content writing package is paid in advance either in full or via a payment plan. If you choose a payment plan, your instalments will be determined by the delivery schedule we agree on before your package commences. You can cancel your payment plan at any time by emailing me at stacey[at]polishedcommunications.com.au. However, I don’t provide refunds for payments already made unless required by the Australian Consumer Law. Your content package will be suspended in the event a payment fails.

    Can I get my content delivered in bulk?
